Overseer E. M. Broadnax is a native of Emporia, Virginia who now lives in Jarratt Virginia. Overseer is the mother of one Daughter, one God daughter, Four Grandchildren’s, (two preceded her in death). Nine stepchildren’s, Six Step grands, and two great Grands. She is married to Apostle J.N. Broadnax. Overseer E.M. Broadnax accepted Christ in her life as her personal Savior at the Tender age of Five years old and were baptized. At the age of twenty Overseer received the in filling of the Holy Ghost. Overseer have had many fathers in the Lord that helped her on her journey.

Overseer served on the Board of Elders for Three Years under the Leadership of Apostle James Leach of Gateway of Victory International. Meanwhile the Lord had showed Apostle James Leach that she would Pastor a Church in Emporia Virginia, Overseer was very hesitant of this. Time went on the words of Apostle James Leach came to pass. Overseer who was title Elder at the time began an open a Church by the leading of the Lord who gave her the Name A Place called ‘There” with Signs and Wonders. One day while standing in her bathroom she heard the Lord whispered the name overseer and Founder three times Overseer didn’t know what an Overseer was; but accepted the call. For about eleven years she Pastor on the call as Overseer. 2013 she was confirmed to the call of Overseer and sent to the nation.

. The Name of the church that God Birth in her Spirit was A Place Called “There” with Signs and Wonders. The church would begin in the home of Overseer Mason Broadnax in March of 2003. This is where the church home would be for fifteen months and the Lord Blessed the church to moved out the home and into a Church. Started out with twelve members which included children. Choir called A Place Called “There” Sunshine Band. One year later the lord called two of the Sunshine band members’ home to be with Him (which were her 2 grandchildren’s). After this the children sunshine band choir disbursed.  We here at A Place called “There” our vision is to minister to the needs of the People; spiritually mentally and emotionally Overseer Broadnax install at that time he was Bishop Junius Broadnax as Senior Pastor. God moved his hand again and Bishop Reacted to the Call as an (Apostle)Some people came and went because they allowed the negativity of others to influence them and caused them to miss out on the move of God.
